Since 2012, Mabel Shelton has led a wide range of industry-impacting projects across the Aviation, Healthcare, Customer Service, and Trucking industries. In that time, she has also coached more than 2,500 employees and business owners in Lean Six Sigma methodologies.

At the start of 2021, Mabel founded Fifth Sierra Consulting to expand her influence beyond Corporate America.

As a seasoned Master Black Belt, her belief is that businesses of all sizes and people of all ages can enjoy the problem-solving benefits of Lean Six Sigma.

Corey Shelton, FF, EMT-P

Corey is a firefighter, paramedic, and entrepreneur. He has championed continuous improvement by applying Lean principles in emergency settings and benchmarking business practices from top-performing companies around the world. 

Corey brings an action-oriented mindset and a passion for operational excellence to his role at Fifth Sierra, where he supports executive training with real-world insight and cross-industry perspective.

Wendy Shelton, RN, BSN

Wendy is an experienced nurse leader with 30 years in long-term care, hospital and clinical operations. As a CRN and Clinical Nurse Manager, she has applied Lean principles to streamline processes, reduce waste, and improve outcomes for patients and staff alike. 

With a career rooted in caring—for patients, clients, and students alike—Wendy brings both strategic insight and hands-on healthcare experience to Fifth Sierra’s work.
